If 2024 was about proving what was possible, 2025 was about making it real — at scale.
This year, Ochy didn’t just grow.
We showed up — on race expos, inside running stores, on conference stages, and in the daily workflows of runners, retailers, coaches, and medical professionals.
Here’s how 2025 unfolded — and why it marked a turning point for Ochy.
Growing the Team Behind the Vision

2025 started from the inside.
Throughout the year, we welcomed new team members into an ever-growing group of people united by a shared belief: running deserves better movement insights.
As the team expanded, so did our ability to move faster — from product development to retail collaborations and global activations. What remained constant was our foundation: built by runners, guided by biomechanics, and driven by real-world impact.
At the Heart of Running: Marathons & Major Race Events

In 2025, Ochy went where runners are.
We worked alongside partners to amplify the expo experience at some of the world’s most iconic endurance events, including:
- Paris Marathon
- London Marathon
- Berlin Marathon
- Frankfurt Marathon
- Ironman 70.3 World Championship
Across these events, gait analysis became more than a demo — it became a conversation starter, helping runners understand their movement, injury risk, and shoe needs in seconds, not sessions
A Strong Global Conference Footprint

Beyond races, 2025 was a year of strong industry presence.
We connected with leaders across sport, retail, and technology at major conferences including:
- VivaTech (Paris)
- CES
- The Running Expo's first edition in Amsterdam
- Running Industry Alliance (RIA) Summit – Loughborough
- ISPO & SportsTech Nation in Munich
Across every stage and booth, the message was consistent:
Product Milestones That Defined the Year

1. Back-View Analysis Launched
In 2025, we released our back-view analysis, unlocking new insights on:
- Pelvis control
- Knee alignment
- Foot mechanics
All captured from a single video, directly from behind — adding a crucial dimension to understanding asymmetry and injury risk
2. Shoe Recommendation Engine
In 2025, we took a decisive step toward connecting biomechanics with footwear decisions.
Our Shoe Recommendation Engine was designed to translate complex gait data into clear, actionable shoe guidance — for runners and for those advising them.
By combining objective movement insights with key footwear parameters (stability, cushioning, geometry, flexibility), the engine helps narrow choices based on how a runner moves, not just how a shoe is marketed.
For runners, this means less guesswork and more confidence.
For retailers, it means clearer conversations, stronger recommendations, and a fitting process grounded in data — not assumptions.
This wasn’t about replacing expertise.
It was about augmenting it with objective insight, exactly where it matters most: at the point of decision.
3. Admin Panel & Shoe Data Management
As Ochy’s presence in retail environments grew, so did the need for structure, consistency, and scalability.
In 2025, we introduced a dedicated Admin Panel, giving retailers and partners a centralized way to manage their Ochy ecosystem — from usage and customer insights to staff access and performance tracking.
Alongside it came Shoe Model Management, allowing stores to map their actual in-store inventory directly into Ochy.
This closed a critical loop: gait analysis → recommendation logic → real, available products on the wall.
The result?
A more connected in-store experience, where data, inventory, and human expertise work together — seamlessly.
This was a foundational step in making Ochy truly retail-ready.
From Mobile App to Connected Ecosystem

2025 marked a shift beyond being mobile-only.
With the continued development of our Web App, Ochy became a connected ecosystem — allowing retailers, brands, and professionals to navigate seamlessly between mobile analyses and web-based management tools.
This evolution laid the groundwork for something bigger.
Becoming Truly Retail-Ready

In 2025, Ochy connected biomechanics with footwear science.
The result:
- Shoe Model Management
- A dedicated Admin Panel
- A state-of-the-art Shoe Recommendation Engine
Together, these tools allow retailers to link objective gait data directly to shoe inventory — bringing clarity, confidence, and consistency to in-store recommendations
A Growing Network of Clients & Partners
Our footprint expanded across brands, retailers, running stores, and federations.
In 2025, we welcomed partners including (and many more):
- HOKA
- Runners Need
- Running Conseil
- England Athletics
- Stride Haus
- Diverse Terrain
Each partnership reinforced the same belief: credible biomechanics belongs in everyday running environments
By the Numbers.
The impact was measurable.
- +85,000 total analyses completed in 2025
- Running shops analysed 102 customers per month on average
- Runners analysed their form 3 times per month
- The side-view analysis remained the most loved feature among users
A Refreshed Brand for a Clearer Direction
2025 also marked a brand refresh — sharpening how Ochy presents itself to the world.
Clearer messaging.
Stronger positioning.
A brand aligned with where the running industry is heading.
Looking Ahead
With new features already in motion and deeper integrations on the horizon, 2026 will build on everything laid in 2025 — pushing further into connected retail, smarter insights, and broader accessibility.
Retail teams get insights.
Runners get clarity.
And the experience becomes stronger for everyone.
Built by runners — for the running industry.
The journey continues. See you in 2026.
